Note that this bike has a CD player with iPod USB input stashed under the seat. We fabricate a trim plate to cover the wiring, and stretched the fiberglass to image the speaker toward the driver’s head. We sent the pod to a painter who matched it to the factory paint.

1. Right this way, Goldilocks, for a temperature that’s just right. Your home will never run too hot or too cold again. HVAC is where you spend most of your energy dollar, and a security system can help you heat or cool as efficiently as possible. You can’t play a CD in these scooter because the radio has to stand at a 90% angle, and CD’s won’t play when tilted on end. We solve this problem by replacing the CD player with a media control radio that is iPod ready. Take a look at the pictures below, and you’ll see that above the radio is a glove box. We run a cable through this so the iPod can be controlled from the head unit.

We strategically placed high powered amplifiers, upgraded mids/highs and a great pair of subwoofers. Two controllers were beautifully integrated in the front console and in the back of the boat.

When you’re out on the lake, FM radio doesn’t pick up well, so we added a satellite radio system for uninterrupted broadcasting. You’ll even notice a tuner in the bathroom. We don’t have a picture, but the system also had an IPOD docking station.

An alarm system sounds like a great idea, but keep in mind that an alarm system is only designed to make noise. By the time someone in your neighborhood is roused and calls authorities, an intruder may have all the time needed to make a clean get-away with your things.

In contrast, a security system, once triggered, notifies the proper authorities immediately and gets them dispatched if there’s an event. Not only does a home security system protect your family and personal property, it gives you a certain peace of mind. A more immediate benefit is that home owners with an installed security system are entitled to discounts on home owners insurance. A monitored system rewards you with discounts that go even deeper.

A good home security system offers features you may not be aware of. For instance, did you know that it can be programmed for medical alerts, allowing independence for the elder ly or anyone with certain medical conditions?

Another example is that you could have a “one-time code” for a time when your neighbor comes in over the weekend to feed the cat or water plants while you’re gone. Once his task is finished, the system automatically erases that particular code.

2. Light up your life! Imagine yourself leaving work on a dark, stormy night. You call your home security system and activate the “lights on” feature. As you pull into the driveway, pre-programmed interior and exterior lights illuminate your way into your home.

3. In the dark? Conversely, you could also program your system to turn off all or most of your lights in your home after you’ve left.

4. Home yet? Systems can also be programmed to let parents know when their kids arrived home. (If it would only remind them to clean the kitchen after they snack, it would be perfect.)
